In my real job, I run a private wealth management practice, Zurbriggen Financial here on the island, with the help of a great team and some really nice clients. I love my business and helping people, but I have found wild life photography to be an additional outlet to relax and enjoy my days off with my family.

It all began with my family and I having traveled to some amazing locations and on our trip to Africa in 2006 I decided to buy a new digital camera and telephoto lens for the picture safari trip. Little did I know what I was about to begin. I fell in love with trying to get that special shot of the animals and landscapes showing their beauty. I also began to realize we have an amazing island, right here on Sanbel, that people from all over the world come to visit. My wife Evette decided to buy a kayak and we started taking day trips to explore Sanibel, with my camera in hand. I discovered what beautiful birds and wildlife we have right here. Between our kayak trips and visits to Ding Darling I have been able to come up with some really nice shots and decided in 2011, to share those with others who might enjoy them as a print in their office or home as well. I believe nature is God’s art being displayed to us and he is allowing me to capture that one moment in time on a print. I hope you enjoy this wildlife as art as much as I do.

My son Kyle, has been joining me on our trips around the world and to Ding Darling and has been become a fantastic photographer in his own right. He has a great eye for capturing some really good shots and we have added a section in our gallery for his photo's. Feel free to give him lot's of compliments on his nice work!
